This was the week I realized that I only had 5 weeks of school left. It surprised me. I knew we  had been working hard, but I guess I never believed we were ever going to get there.

The fact that I actually have accomplished a lot this year, makes me feel better!

ImageL. with all his markers, crayons etc. organized for his student sheets. None of my boys have really been into coloring, drawing etc. But this past week, they pulled out stacks of sheets and worked on them!

ImageEven P. worked on some!

ImageThese boys were playing around with the camera and you should have seen the silly faces!

And the not so silly ones!!

ImageMaybe, I can pull this wall down if I try hard enough? Mom? Mom?

Oh, no!! Look at all the work I have to do! If I cover my eyes, maybe it will go away! No!!! It didn’t, it didn’t!!!

ImageWe played word bingo, regular bingo, and had sentence making with index card words! I have noticed that this has really helped!

T. finished his math book completely this week! He was very excited when his new one came in the mail!

ImageHe got a milkshake and hamburger to celebrate his accomplishment! There is nothing like a huckleberry shake to make you enjoy math!

ImageWe finished off the week with lots of play practice, and soccer. It has been amazing, but so  far, the two have not conflicted. P. has been practicing a lot, L. some, but I really hope they have enjoyed this experience!

ImageT. has really been enjoying soccer and it was fun for him to have L. on the same team. He ran out the first time and said “Mom, I just love soccer!” The exercise has seemed to help him to be less ornery..if that is possible and more the sweet boy, I know that he can be.

They have all done well in their school this year, we have had our struggles, but I am happy to see all we have done!
