The title reminds of a song we used to sing in church alot that I always really liked! I have been feeling blessed this last week because I have been extremally busy, but you know the love of God and peace has been helping me through it. This is not to say I have done well all the time! Oh no!!
Sad to say, I have failed several times, I have cried, and gotten frusterated, but God really has been helping me with His great love and giving me peace in my soul. I had a test on Sunday and when it was over, the amazing joy of going through that and being able to face (I don’t know even what to call it) the demons of the past that get triggered and instead be able to pray and sing through it was wonderful. even though it was hard and I did not breakdown.
Today I had 6 boys to care for, I ended up going to a homeschool book sale this morning, which was nice as I got several books I needed and I think we are almost set. I still need a good spelling/grammar or language arts book for my third grader. I am also trying to get my cell phone working which is more work than you would think. You know they set up security so no one can get in, but then if you forget and your phone is broken, there is no way to get it pretty much! Hopefully, I can try to go in and reset it in person with I.D. to prove who I am!
My brother, whom as one of the extra boys, ended up having some asthma trouble and he couldn’t really eat and spent most of the day doing breathing treatments. Life is never dull, that is for sure! One thing that was a blessing was that that meant P. was preoccupied with being a good nurse and they were all excellent behaved!
I bough tomato cages and tomato plants, so I need to go out while it cooled down and dig up my garden! I know it is June, but it was cold in May!!!
That's awesome that you were able to conquer some old emotions and hold them captive with the help of the Lord! I wish I could do a whole lot of that. I'm glad to hear you've almost gotten all of your school books too. I don't know if you would like it or not, but we ended up with Abeka Lanuguage for our english/grammar and although we've only done about 4 pages so far we really like it. I hope you can find something good and affordable. I know what you mean about all of the security stuff on the cell phones and actually almost everything these days. I hope you'll be able to get it working again. They are definitely nice to have around.
