It seems funny to say that as I guess I have never really taken a vacation before, it was alot of fun! Tuesday afternoon we set out and went an hour and half away to my mom’s.
All set in the car….

We picked up my siblings from school and then we had a fun evening planned for the children. They really enjoyed themselves. The next day, i went to a class at the birth center about feeding your children solid food. She had some very interesting viewpoints on solids and it was really nice. We set off from there and headed 2.5 hours away to a hotel and went out to dinner.
I found out that eating out for a family of small eaters is really difficult to decide how much food to order. They eat often, but not huge amounts at a time.

We had a restful night in the hotel and then set set out for the fun times!
Three boys in one bed was a bit tight for the growing boys, but we made it!!

L. has been wanting to go to Chuck ‘E Cheese for a long time, so we made that dream come true with this trip.
He was thrilled!!
It was every bit as exciting as he thought it would be and more!
All the rides……

The joy on their faces was worth all the driving!

After this we headed over to a friends house, we went swimming for awhile, which I was so tired I forgot to take pictures….and then had a wonderful dinner together with out friends and slept good!

The next day we went out to visit a friend who was in the hospital, and a Children’s science museum.

This was a water table where you could change the currents and flow of the tide.
A very sleepy Tarantula or maybe that is always how they are.

Crossing guard…..
Learning traffic rules

Learning bike safety……H. is in the back there.
They had a cool crime to solve with all the crime lab equipment. P. and I worked on solving the crime with fibers, hairs, shoe prints, fingerprints, DNA and all that! It was fun for both of us!
inside the hut…..They have a play store, boat and hut in there too!
So tired out and on our way home!!!
We had alot of fun, stopping at some stores too like Toys ‘R Us and used bookstores, riding escalators was a huge thrill, and visiting the large downtown library. They were especially excited about parking meters and when we got back we only had one minute left and they were saying "Quick, quick, jump in, run fast!!!"
it was a great trip!!!
