We visited the pumpkin patch this past month. My sister and I went with a couple others.

At home yesterday, I baked a pumpkin…..pureed it and made pumpkin pie from pumpkin that was not canned for the first time. Yes, the first time! i always make bread, cake etc out of it. But T. really wanted pie, so he helped me to make pie!!! It was really good! I used a recipe from a 1950’s cookbook and threw it together. T. was so funny, he first was organizing the eggs, all the brown ones in one carton, all the white ones in another, making sure none was missing. Then after he helped me crack the eggs into the bowl (he has amazing abilities still with this), he said “I will throw away the ones that are hatched!!”
He is so funny! He is very cuddly lately too, I think he was not feeling good as he kept wanting to lay down on my lap. He won’t let me throw away empty cans or plastic containers, but saves them for recycling! I guess i have to recycle, whether I want to or not.

Tony is such a character…I love hearing his comments. Make sure you write down his marriage plans and how “That is odd”

What fun! We planted a some pumkin seeds, but we have only 2 small pumpkins, I thought I was going to be overrun with them. I’m hoping to make a recipe I saw on Tammy’s recently with some pumpkin and I have some children who want me to make a pumpkin pie too.

    Enjoyed the pics!
