Ever since we moved in here, I have been living with this cupboard that was very deep, but had no shelves in it.

I have been hoping we could make shelves in it and finally we did it!

Fred did an excellent job and the cupboard is finally useful. I should have taken before pictures, but that would have been embarrassing! I know some peoples cupboards are nicer looking than my after picture!

Now, I just need to get the rest of my long list conquered! The boys room is next.

And I know what ya mean about other people’s cupboards looking better! We have a really old house, and the cupboards are about 60 years old…and NOT those nice leaded glass front cupboards, either! We actually have no cupboards for the entire kitchen…I just cannot seem to get dh to install them! We’ve had them about a year, and they’ve been stored in the shop. Maybe one day…

look great! I have a friend who has cabinets like your’s and she said that there were no shelves. I keep telling her to have her hubby build some but they won’t listen. What a great job!

Canning season? Well, I sure hope it is a little cooler before I have to can! Plus- I have to find the food to can also!
Fred is very handy when it comes to shelves! He has built me some of the nicest shelves in the past. In this cupboard the sides of the cabient were too thin to fasten anything to so he figured out a way to support them without harming the cupboard! They are really sturdy!
