I have not made this in forever, so decided to make one for after dinner. For one reason, i am trying to teach a young man to come when he is called RIGHT AWAY, and not in a few minutes or even 10 minutes, so this will do the trick!

It is really easy, not terribly healthy, but not too bad!

Peach Upside Down Cake

Peaches:
3 T. butter
1/3 c. sugar (i already cut this down)

1 quart peaches with juice (or large can)

Cake:

3/4 c. butter

1 c. sugar

2 eggs

1 t. vanilla

2 c. flour

4 t. baking powder

pinch salt

1 c. milk

In 9x 13 pan brown sugar and butter in the oven at 350<p. Top with peaches and set aside

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl mix dry ingredients (flour, salt, and baking powder)

Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to egg mixture.

Spread batter over the peaches in the pan.

Bake at 350 until golden brown and cake tests done.

Serve warm with whipped cream
