I took a picture of this quilt as it gave such a beautiful optical illusion…I was not sure how she did that.

Some more of the beautiful quilts today!
It was a beautiful day! The weather was perfect, it was not too dusty, it was great! With all the sadness we have had and busy stuff, it was really important for me to take a quiet day of rest and spending time with my family.

The boys were petting and feeding the horses!

Playing on the Amish school playground…..the sleeping bags were airing out, I think!

this playground has been there for ages!!! But they are the neatest things!

Watching the quilts sell….and wishing I had a couple hundred $$$ to invest in some quilts!

The optical illusion one selling…I think it went for $475. They were not going very high. I saw a couple go for $900, but like only three or four all day. Some very nice ones went for $275- 300

The boys spent much of the day eating! Sue Miller owns the store now and served nachos over there, so the boys had some for lunch and hot dogs, kettle corn, homemade ice cream with strawberries, plus all kinds of stuff I brought from home!
I have to post a picture of the woven rug I bought! I spent all day watching the quilts and these beautiful rugs. I loved these other ones, but they went for $50 a piece. i waited until the end and ended up getting a woven rug for $15! It will be great in my bedroom on my hardwood floor! I also at the end waited and they auctioned off a few groceries and got some cereal for .75-$1 a box (honey bunches of oats was one of them) and some other stuff. It was nice and fun!
i had some nice short visits with friends too!
