A horrible storm and a distraught father, searching for his wife and baby. His agony in not being able to find them alive, reaches into your soul. Fast forward several years and you find a young woman raised as the lightkeepers daughter. Mystery and intrigue surrounds her though as you discover that all is not as it seems and she is the missing baby or is she?

As with many of Colleen’s books this one is not simply historical fiction or fiction, but a great suspense book, keeping you on your toes, trying to figure out who is the villain. You will read amazing descriptions of the beautiful lighthouse and how they worked at this time as well as a touch of romance.

I have enjoyed Colleen’s suspense books in the past and this was a new era of her writing for me! I enjoyed it and find her an excellent suspense writer. This book will keep you up reading……If you enjoy historical fiction and would like a bit of a different twist and solving murders and suspense added….look this one up.
This book is printed by Thomas Nelson and was supplied by Thomas Nelson for review.
