I can suddenly understand why people can enjoy sewing! I got a new sewing machine and it is amazing! All I have done is hem some clothes and it was effortless! My other machine, although it worked, I would have to thread several times, deal with jamming, or something. It would not sew on thin, silky fabrics and this one glides over thick and thin alike!
It is a Janome with a Decor computer. It was halfway a present from my mom, which is how I was able to get such a nice machine!
I got a small desk at a garage sale yesterday to set it up on. I paid $25, but it is really nice! It matches my shelves in here and is big enough for both my serger and sewing machine with plenty of room for the project!
I think I will start working on some other projects now that I got this all set up. The boys and I need aprons. I bought this waterproof stuff to put on the boys so they can help me with dishes also. I also have pajamas to make, or at least the pants.
