How many of you have heard of Ellie Kay? When I read her first book, I was sick with morning sickness with my second baby and started reading again. (That was a big deal as I had not read a book except my bible in, I think, about three years). It was the only thing that got me through morning sickness that time! Anyhow, I picked up this book called Shop, Save and Share by Ellie Kaye
I thought it would be an average non-fiction book you read, learn some tips and go on! I was laughing so hard at this book on saving money, my husband kept asking what on earth I was reading!
Today I picked up another one of her books called How to save money everyday and I remembered why I liked her as an author of money saving books! I starting laughing right off with the story of her taking a field trip of a donut factory with her 5 children, one child in a stroller and another on her back. He was being really quiet and suddenly she discovered the reason why was because the drying chocolate donuts were right on his level and he was snatching them as they went by and sharing them with another toddler on the mom’s over back. The reason she discovered it was because chocolate starting dripping down onto her neck! Now, I do not have the talent for writing like she does, but it was such a funny picture that moms could relate to!
She has great money saving tips, some of which I cannot use, but they remind alot of some of the stuff Crystal does at Biblical Womanhood

So, if you need a laugh, and want to save some money, check out her books at the library! Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak!

Thanks for the reference. I went to my library online and saw she also has one on "1/2 Price Living: Secrets to Living Well on One Income." So I ordered them both up.
