Frugality I have found is a mind set! Sometimes it is not really frugal, but just being miserly! I  have struggled with just being miserly ever since I got money. I remember going somewhere and had to buy my own lunch, and thinking that maybe I really was not that hungry. Why? I wanted to keep the money I had, just because! Was that wise? No, because  it is important we do not go without food! I remember going to the store with $1 and buying a roll at the bakery that was .45 (a cheese roll), 1 slice lunch meat which was .20 and a container of yogurt for .33. I bought my entire lunch for .95 and since had change!  Yes, I was about 16. I couldn’t ride my bike the 4 miles to work sometimes because I usually did not eat enough to get me through the ride. I worked a minimum wage job which was like $4.20 an hour, 10-14 hours a week. I paid for car insurance, gas once a paycheck, and saved the rest. I bought a cow, a sewing machine, paid for mine and my sister’s trip to Bolivia and many other things. Later I sold the cow and bought a serger, which I have now.  Yeah, I did not spend much on things though that did not last, like food and clothing unless my mom made me. Oh, I bought lots of books too! <p> Anyhow, I was reading this post this morning and realized that  frugality can look different for everyone, it is not feasible for everyone to live like  you do or to expect them to.  You need to do what works for you and be happy doing it! That is the best thing! Also, don’t be so frugal you sacrifice your health by going without eating! It is alot cheaper, but not for your body! Also, new clothing is needed at times, although buying a sewing machine helps! Check out Amy’s post
