~ Faith Is The Victory  ~<p>

Encamped along the hills of light,
 Ye Christian soldiers, rise.
And press the battle ere the night
 Shall veil the glowing skies.
Against the foe in vales below
Let all our strength be hurled.
Faith is the victory, we know,
 That overcomes the world.<p>

Refrain:

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!
O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.<p>

His banner over us is love,
Our sword the Word of God
We tread the road the saints  above
 With shouts of triumph trod.
By faith, they like a whirlwind’s breath,
 Swept on o’er every field.
The faith by which they conquered death
 Is still our shining shield.<p>

Refrain<p>

On every hand the foe we find
 Drawn up in dread array.
Let tents of ease be left behind,
 And onward to the fray.
 [tag]Salvation[/tag]’s helmet on each head,
 With truth all girt about,
The earth shall tremble ‘neath our tread,
 And echo with our shout.<p>

Refrain<p>

To him that overcomes the foe,
 White raiment shall be given.
Before the angels he shall know
 His name confessed in Heaven
Then onward from the hill of light,
 Our hearts  with  love aflame,
We’ll vanquish all the hosts of night,
 In Jesus’ conquering Name.<p>

Refrain
<p> This is one of my favorite Hymns and I was thinking about it today! Yesterday we closed on our house, partially! We signed all the papers, but the seller did not have everything in order and we have to wait to actually record it on Monday hopefully. It sort of sets us back a bit, but hopefully everything turns out okay. We are also having a odd thing happen with our van which we are trying to figure out, so it all very faith building.
<p>Today is a busy day of soccer and I am a little overtired, so I may end up sitting a bit more than cheering!  A friend of  F. is coming to look at the van in between, but we cannot all fit into the car to go  so it  poses more juggling…<p> Last night L. swallowed something, but we finally figured out what it was and it was not bad so I think he is fine. It made it a little more exciting as I went to the store and my cell phone died.  Everyone was a little concerned when I got home!
I will try to post some more pictures pretty soon, I packed the battery charger now though!

Congrats on signing on the house! Every little step feels good.

I did the California Achievement Test. I have been told that this test is the most like the SAT, so it allows the boys to become familiar with this type of test. I go through the Family Learning Organization. Testing is not required in Montana but it was when we lived in Washington state, so I want to keep it up at least every other year just as preparation for the SAT. Plus it builds my confidence that the boys are academically on track.
