I was thinking on todays sermon in Daniel and thought it was curious that God cared so much about a king from a Gentile nation as He did. He helped keep the king on track, yet the king was very wicked still! It was just curious to me! Also, I read that Daniel was the chief of magicians!!!
How awful!!!
What do you all think about these things?
I don’t know if it was so much so the king Daniel worked for was being taken care of by God. It was Daniel being a grand example of someone who depends on the one true God.
Time and time again Daniel had to witness to the king of what is right.
Yes, Nebuchadnezzar did put Daniel in charge of the wise men but this doesn’t imly that Daniel approved of them or their ways. . Just as many pastors and preachers are over many heathen that they don’t approve of, they still have a call to minister. It’s clear that Daniel could do what these wise men couldn’t because they didn’t have the Lord with them like Daniel did.
