I am so tired from selling books all day yesterday! Last year, we had offered to help out with the book sale and since no one else offered to head it up, another local homeschool mom and i got the job. This year, since we went to the annual meeting, we decided to volunteer again. This year we collected some other helpers and it was easier, but boy, it was alot of work. I set up the tables according to subject and figured out a better way to organize and keep things on the tables this year. i was up and down since i got there at 7 am. The night before i could not fall asleep, so it was a short night and I did not even have time to eat lunch. i could have asked to be relieved, but eating is never a priority for me. I was sure feeling it though trying to count money with a foggy brain. My friend Nika brought me sour patch kids, which while not the healthiest….helped me until i got home to my dinner. I was so glad i started that in the morning! We had Corned beef, cabbage, salad and mashed potatoes and it was just all ready to just heat the potatoes and cabbage and eat.

i am still so tired out, I felt sick this morning i was so tired. But a day of rest really helped. i did have to go to Costco for candy bars for F. for his school bus children, and I guess I never go to Costco on sundays….there was so many people there i knew! With me being brain dead, i was not sure what to see….but i did see a couple of wonderful friends.

anyhow, I still have alot of my mom’s books to sell, and finish up money stuff for the book sale, but i am already on my way with that. sold another set of her books this afternoon online. Anyone looking for CLE?
Tomorrow is another day!

Sounds like you had a busy day!! What a lot of books, I wouldn’t even know where to start! :)

Do you like the “new homeschoolblogger”? I am liking it a lot, still learning a bit, but over all it is a whole lot better than what we had before. :) It is so much easier to use too!
