Do I feel ready? No!!! Instead I had the busiest day of my life…well, not really. I was up last night canning pears. I was peeling, slicing and putting them in jars last night. The kitchen was covered in stickiness, there was so many fruit flies last night, I was determined to get everything gone. So this morning I woke up and went to work on the rest. So far we did 14 jars of pears and have some pear sauce/butter in the crockpot. We will see how it turns out!
Tomorrow is the first day of school and I do not feel ready. I have not prepared like I should as it seems like I am busy refereeing all day and really needed some time just alone, even like 1 hour to get it done. Oh well, we are going to have fun anyhow!
I have four crates with file folders in them, some of the books, some of the supplies. I have to figure out where I put some of the others, and prayerfully I hope I can teach four children all at once.
I am using Our Father’s World for kindergarten, then I have LLATL for 1st grade along with MUS as well as other things for the rest of the subjects. 3rd grade LLATL, Easy grammar, MUS, Story of the World, and my history/geography plan as well as some science projects, 5th grade- LLATL, BJU math, Wordsmith Apprentice, Story of the World, HWT handwriting, and my history/geography plan as well as science club. Also we are going to be doing an intense grammar class as well for him. Also, they all take piano for music, and we have Art packets as well we do, along with crafts that will go along with our lessons. It sounds much simpler than last year to me! Maybe I can get it all done this year!

So, tomorrow will be another day, with no mistakes in it. (The one line from Anne of Green Gables I like!! My, I sure watched that movie and read the books enough for hating it so well)
It sounds like y'all will be off to a great start of a new school year… and the pear butter sounds yummy! I wandered across your blog through Loeffler Mom's. It was nice reading about your happenings. Hope schooling your 4 is going well. My 4 sons are (except only 3 are really old enough to school) are enjoying this new school year.
Blessings,
:)Michelle
