Anyone else in this boat? Thankfully it is not as hot here as I know it is in some places, I can think of all the the thankful words to say, but in reality, I am still feeling somewhat tired and groggy when it is hot.

I really like Spring, I love Fall, but summer is hard for me, except on the cooler days. It has to be good for our tomatoes though, right?

Anyhow, my brain is on overload now and I am trying to organize out my life and re-schedule things. I think I have most of my schoolbooks for this next year, although i am discouraged about where my second son is in math. Otherwise, I think we are going to stay busy! I am reading “More Hours in my Day” as well as Homeschooling at the Speed of Life by Marilyn Rockett. They are both excellent and I want to put some of the things into practice, but with a lack of energy it is hard!

Last night i stayed up late baking cookies as it was cool and we need to have something to have for snacks. They are oatmeal chocolate chip and I add flax seeds to them. They have alot of oatmeal in them, so they are fairly good for you. But i woke up to the kitchen still having dirty dishes in the sink! I hate that!

Anyhow, I have cookies and tapioca to bring to homeschool coop, I planned out a short lesson on Independance Day for it and I need to go water my tomatoes and cucumbers. My basil is doing good! I hope I get alot of it this year! I would love to have some pesto to go in the freezer!

Anyhow, if anyone has any ideas on how to stay full of energy when it is hot out, let me know!
