<p>Sunday:   Spanish Rice with meat- popcorn (I have a oven recipe for it, I will see if I put it on a lower temp in  the oven before church, it should be done when I get home)
<p>Monday:  Burritos – Black beans in freezer
<p>Tuesday: Soup, bread ( I am not sure what kind yet, we are out of potatoes and there are none on sale, so it will be whatever I come up with)<p>
I went grocery shopping today and hopefully we got enough stuff as sales were sort of sparse! We have food in the freezer though!  We ran out of soy sauce today! You know, I think we have had to only buy 2 containers from Costco, maybe just one since we have been married. It is like $3-4 there for  a large bottle. F. really loves soy sauce, so it is  nice to have it cheap. I have a bottle that I refill  that I got discounted for that purpose, so we keep it full in the fridge. <p>
I am thinking of trying a oven peach french toast again sometime, when I make french bread myself. Last time I thought it was excellent, but needed a little longer cooking. I got some canned peaches last week for .50 so it would be nice to try and this week. There is the discount carts at a local grocery store, but you have to watch to see if you are getting things cheap or not as sometimes they do not even mark them below normal price! They had canned tomatoes in there for .50 a can, but they cost .50 a can normally! The canned fruit is nice as it is usually half of what it is normally! <p> Oh, I managed to get a whole chicken that was marked down, not on sale, but .69 a pound. You should have seen my three year old’s eyes when I got home! "Chicken, Mama?" he said "It will be ‘nummy!!"<p>
What I bought this week:
Smiths
Large can peaches .59
Can green beans .30
Can frosting .50
Green beans .30
 Large can Pears .69
Tomato soup 1 can .50
1 dozen eggs 1.49
5 lb. whole chicken 3.49
Pork boneless Loin chops – lrg. tray $5.84
Chex mix – Free with coupon
Saltine Crackers .86
Total: 14.56<p>

Costco<p>
2 gallons milk $5.39
1 lrg container soy sauce $4
5 or 6  romaine lettuce heads $2.99
Total: $12.38
<p>
We  are using alot of the food we bought last week for the meals and some this week, will be for next week, etc.

You won the Passionate Housewives contest! I am so happy for you! I have read it. It is excellent! One of the ladies at church loaned it to me. I plan to buy it someday. I am SO glad you won it!!! Let me know what you think!

It was nice talking to you the other night. It was after 8pm my time when things finally settled down around here. Hopefully another night we can chat more.
