This past week was difficult in many ways, but we had to make some decisions that either way were going to cost us alot of money. It was very discouraging for me as I have been saving money to be able to go on a little family vacation in April. I know, it was nothing terribly exciting and we were not going very far away or anything, but it is our 12th anniversary coming up, my son’s 7th birthday and also a year from the time we bought our house….so we kind of wanted to do something special as we did nothing much last year.

Here this huge bill was going to have to be paid, the company let me know that they were willing to work with me and take payments, but it was going to be over $700. I felt though through it, that I was to trust God and He had his hand in it and it was going to work out. I didn’t know the outcome and still the outcome has been hard, but yet I watched as God shrunk the bill from over $700 down to $231 and then down to $190…..!!! I was so excited and blessed
I know that some people could say it was a conicidence. It would have happened anyhow, but i know without a doubt in my heart that when you have faith in these simple matters that God takes care of us and cares about these things and I know this was a direct answer to prayer and if He hears in these things, He knows why the other things have happened and will take care of us in them as well. They may not go away, things will still be hard, but He cares for us and will take care of us through the storm.

We do serve an awesome God. When my mother passed away, my sister and I weren't sure how we'd pay for the funeral. As we sat down to discuss it with the funeral director, I was preparing to ask him if we could set up a payment plan when he told us that an anonymous donor had offered to take care of it for us. What a thrilling blessing that was! I looked at my sister and said, "God is good!"

Absolutely, God cares about all parts of our lives – even the things that seem little to us. I'm glad everything worked out for you and that God answered your prayer in a wonderful way!
