I wanted to write a mothering funny that is only one of those things that you can laugh at when it is all over. It has been over a week now, so I guess it is funnier now! I had gone after a long day to my sister;s to do some scrapbooking. i had been working on speeding up little boys who were doing their schoolwork, so had bought some licorice candy so that when they got done on time they would get a small stick. Well, while I was gone my youngest son ate the entire bag (it was pretty much a full pound). On top of that, my husband fed him orange pop and quite a lot of cheddar cheese. That night my husband and I got a lesson on why (I think I knew, but my husband did not) you do not do that when pretty much half of the room literally was coated with the aforesaid food. It does not make me feel sick cleaning it up, but I do not think I will ever be eating red licorice again! I was laughing later because who lets their child eat something like that? Of course they are going to be sick!!! I was more tired that i thought!

Anyhow, we are in the process of applying for a loan for a house, it is a long drawn out affair and we may find out if we are approved this Tuesday. I am not sure what exactly we are doing, if this is a good thing or not, but I am praying God’s will will be done. We have a steady income right now so it is a good time and it would actually reduce our cost of living a bit, so we could maybe save a bit! also, housing costs are down right now, so it is a good time to buy. I managed to get the living room in living condition, it has not been since Thanksgiving, so that was a relief! Tomorrow, I have the boys room to hit as we are missing some things that have to be found tomorrow!
Also, our washer needs repair. It is leaking and to find out what is wrong, the repair guy costs alot and it could be something simple or it could be a $300 repair which I would almost rather buy a new washer. This one is only 6 years old though so that seems weird that it would be that bad. Anyhow, I am going to reduce clothing, not get rid of, but pack away so since we have to go to the laundry mat we only have a small amount of clothes. It is a little overwhelming to me, but I used to only do laundry every week -2 weeks and have like 5 loads. But we only had 1-2 children and they were small!
Oh, red licorice puke…. That sounds terrible. I think it would take me more then a week to be able to laugh about. So will you buy a new house with the loan or is it just to improve your home? I hope that it works out. ~Diana
I'm glad you can laugh about it now! I don't think I could eat red licorice again without thinking of your "adventure" with it. :) I can't even remember the last time I had any.
How did your houes loan approvement go??
Hope you can get your washer fixed with it costing to much.
