I made this last night and it was really simple and really good!

Turkey Tetrazzini

1.5 c. uncooked boneless cubed chicken or cooked leftover turkey or chicken, diced

2 c. chicken broth (I actually used beef as I could not find my chicken stuff, homemade would have been better)

2 c. skim milk

1/4 c. cornstarch

2 cloves garlic

1/4 t. onion powder

salt and pepper to taste

1 c. Italian blend cheese (Romano, parmesan, and mozzarella)

1 pound of cooked spaghetti pasta

In small amount of oil, brown chicken or turkey with garlic (mine was cooked, so I did not add the turkey until later. Add chicken broth to pan and heat until boiling. Mix cornstarch and milk together and add to pan. Cook until thickened. Add spices and salt and pepper to taste. Add cheese and cook until melted and thickened over low heat. Add turkey or chicken. Mix with cooked pasta and spread in a baking dish. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bread crumbs if you want. Bake until bubbly and bread crumbs are browned, like 20 minutes.

I liked it and the boys all liked it too and ate it really well! You could use whole wheat spaghetti if you like or add mushrooms if you like that.
