My Review:
I found my dream vacation guide book! I just wish it had more cities in it. I was hoping that Philadelphia would have been included. However, I am looking forward to trying one or two of these trips sometime.
Each chapter goes through a city in the United States with books to read and about a three day vacation with hour by hour activities to do throughout the city related to books, authors and historical events that are related to books or their authors. There are even places to eat listed and detailed.
I lived in Minneapolis for awhile and I was impressed by the amount of things I missed out on while living there, but for sure when I visit there again, I am going to go on some of the tours listed in this book, especially the bike riding tour of bookstores! That sounds like a blast!
You have to check this book out if you love to read and travel.
