We are working on using what we have in the freezer and pantry, so it could be an interesting week, but I think it will be fun. I am also trying to use my slow cooker as well as much as possible. I made bread earlier this week and we boiled a large pot of potatoes for snacks too. I experimented with a batch of granola bars, but they did not come out too well, but were still chipped out of the pan and eaten somewhat.

Looks very yummy. How is boiling a large pot of potatoes good for snacks? I’ve never heard of that, but love potatoes, so I want to find out. :)

I know it sounds weird…but he will make a fried potato or heat one in the microwave and dip in BBQ sauce. The carbs give him quick energy that comes from a whole food and carb.
