Do you ever have a day where you want to just crawl back into bed? Well, today was one of those. It started out okay, it was quiet, things were peaceful and I had grand plans of doing some organizing. Well, the two older boys and my husband went off to work for the day. I packed them a ice chest full of food to eat while they were working and I started on my work. Soon the next two children were awake, and hungry. I fixed them breakfast, they wanted to be read to, so we read a couple books, they ate and then I went to try to get back to work. It seemed like though every few minutes, they were either in trouble or quiet so I had to check on what they were doing. As soon as i got busy, they were busy trying to not do what they were supposed to be doing. Anyhow, they are in bed, not asleep, but I do not really feel like spending much time with them right now. I do not feel very well, probably from eating dark chocolate in the middle of the day without any protein and eating eggs despite the fact they make me feel ill.
Anyhow, we had pigs in a blanket for dinner, well, they all did. i had a whole wheat biscuit and a big salad. i made the biscuit dough in my food processor as it is almost as simple as using already made biscuit dough, except you have to wash the container. It is super easy! They turned out flaky, the boys liked them and that is what counts, right?
Tomorrow is another day and hopefully we can do much, much better, here is hoping!
We did get our new refridgerator drawer today. When we bought our new fridge, one of the drawers was cracked, so hopefully this one holds up better! I think I will take a shower and crawl in bed myself.
