What does a house full of junk, a widower and a stalker all have in common? Quinn Reilly!! Quinn Reilly is an EBay seller that in the search for treasures for her online store comes in contact with widower Morgan Spencer.
A few years before, Quinn Reilly has done the right thing, but now her past is out of prison and coming to haunt her, literally. The house she is emptying has a creepy cellar with ancient equipment from an insane asylum that may have a mysterious or haunted vibe to go along with it.
Can Morgan love someone again after the loss of his wife? Can Quinn trust a man after being treated badly by her father and other men her whole life?
Ms. Heitzmanm drew me in right away as I recognized characters from previous books. The book had me enthralled with its mixture of wondering if these characters really needed each other or a good therapist. Morgan is a hard nut to crack, and what you think will be typical about this book will prove to be anything but typical.
The mystery, romance and family dynamics, will have you falling in love with the whole family, down to the toddlers of the family.
The only thing I found so convenient in this story was the abundance of money that Morgan had…money always seems to make things easier, and who doesn’t dream of a rich, handsome prince that rides in his Maserati.
If you want a good book to curl up on the couch with this winter, pick up this one. It will have you curled up until you are finished, and your fingers are going slightly numb from gripping the pages a few times!
