This short Christmas story is like the prodigal son in many ways.
In this story, Jody left home as a teenager, has lost her livelihood and decides when everything else has failed to come home.
Her mother Sonia has been facing her own battles as a widow. The loss of her daughter has impacted hr life in such a way, she wonders if she can find the heart to forgive her.

This story is short and sweet. It is the story of forgiveness when the person did not deserve forgiveness. Love when she deserved hatred. I found the story lacking a bit in details, but it got a point across that in many cases, when people seek to be forgiven, sometimes they don’t deserve it, but we can extend grace and move forward. – Martha
