that I really like reading new author’s first book! They do such a good job, the research, the dialogue and everything else is just exceptional it seems like.
But as a new author wanting to break into the business, it is overwhelming at the number of things and how hard it is sometimes!!!
I think the debut novels I have read recently and man…some of them were so good.
I have been blessed to read some really good books lately. I read Saving Hope by Margaret Daley recently. That was an exceptional book. I know that human trafficking is a hot topic now, but it is something I think we are blind to!
I read Yahshua’s Bridge by Sandi Rog the second in the series and it reminded me of Francine River’s Voice in the Wind series. It is not as graphic as that one could be at times, but for sure talked about some the major issues the first Christians faced.
My reading has been limited by major time crunches, extreme tiredness and trying to finish up school. We are reading a ton of books in school too!
I like authors first books too. They are always so compelling.
